Make a deal.

I once discovered an amazing scientific experiment.

In my early twenties…


I worked as a sales rep for a telecommunication company.


And one of my tasks was cold calling.

I either did it from home…

If I was at the office…


I isolated myself in a separate meeting room.

Once I was good at cold calling…

So why was that?


How did I shift from being insecure…


And only calling from the privacy of my home…


Or from a separated meeting room…


To being so confident…


That I enjoyed showing off to my colleagues?


The answer: COMPETENCE.


Because I was “competent” at cold calling…


I felt “confident” doing it.


That’s was one of the moments in my life…


That made me understand…


Confidence comes from competence!


And it doesn’t matter if it’s cold calling or whatever.


Remember when you learned to ride a bike?


Remember how scared and insecure you were?


Cause you were not competent yet.


And without the help of your parents, you would fall.


And look at you now…


Do you feel confident riding a bike?

Cause you’re “competent” at riding the bike.


Just look at anything in your life that you were not confident in “before”…
